Babies to Children. Beautifully simple moments.
Focussing on your child, we mix art photography with a play based approach to capture some truly special moments. This beautifully simple approach to studio portraits is one our clients love. These little ones are not models, they just want to do their own thing which is what makes the images even more special.
From babies (4 months and up) to children, we offer one session package. It's 30 minutes in the studio. In that time we can capture special moments focussing on their gorgeous face, smiles and that very unique personality. We will always take a little extra time if needed. Whilst we don't offer cake smashes (it's just not our thing), there are always elements that can be added to a session to celebrate a milestone or special occasion.

The Portrait Studio Session
Sessions always begin with a beautifully minimal clean look. For babies it's about following their lead and focussing on eyes, smiles, little actions. For older children/teens we can work on a little direction and posing to assist creating images that express their style and personality. We always have time for them to show us their favourite poses or bring a little of what they love to a session.
Adding little elements to the portrait studio session can be a great way to celebrate something special in your child's life. A simple wooden cake and balloons were added by his mum to celebrate a 1st Birthday. For teens turning 13, 16 or even 18, there are always little touches that can be added that work with their style.

Digital Images and Printed Images
An online zoom viewing session will take place one week after your session where you can make your image choices.
Once image choice is made and payment finalised, images will be edited and available within two weeks. Digital images will be provided by download. Printed images will be available for pick up*
*USB of digital images and posting of USB/prints available at extra cost..

I'm Kathryn, a portrait photographer specializing in studio photography for babies and children. Located in Melbourne (South-East Region) the studio space allows me to create a simple and minimal look to portraits. It's my favourite approach to photography and loved by many clients.
